Renzi, leader of the centre-left Democratic party, is also keen for an early election in which he may perform better than the ballot scheduled for Spring 2018. ?The consensus among political players is to have an election in spring 2018; there is no appetite for an early vote other than from Renzi,? he said. Italy?s highest court has opened the way for early elections in 2017 after favouring a form of proportional representation in a ruling that could bolster former prime minister Matteo Renzi?s chances of making a comeback. He said the referendum defeat hurt, but stressed that the blog was a way to ?walk towards the future?. The law had been a cornerstone of Renzi?s broader reform plan and one he hoped would end decades of political instability.

Police are investigating if six teenagers found dead after a garden party in Germany were poisoned by carbon monoxide. The five young men and one young woman were found on Sunday morning by the owner of a garden shed, who wondered why his son and daughter - both among the victims - had not returned from the party. "Image Caption: A sign at the scene reads `crime scene`There was a wood-burning stove in the shed, prompting detectives to investigate the possibility of carbon monoxide poisoning. Local police spokesman Bjorn Schmitt told the Bild newspaper the group had turned on the stove "so it is a possibility, but there are others". If the election were held tomorrow his far-right party would probably be the largest in parliament. Nourdin el Ouali has grown used to far-right attacks on Dutch Muslims, and to dog-whistle politics. The letter did not directly mention Muslims, and began instead by attacking people who drop litter or spit on buses. However, in his warning of ?something wrong? in Dutch society, the message was clear. The system of proportional representation that first allowed Wilders to flourish makes it unlikely that he will become prime minister.
Although the hawkers were unlicensed, they were supported by Hong Kong residents who saw them as emblematic of local culture, which they feel is under threat. It was that decision that led to the months of protests in Hong Kong, later known as the Umbrella Movement, calling for ?genuine? universal suffrage. Despite the Hong Kong government?s apparent anxiety about the messages of opposing parties provoking violence, political adversaries have long coexisted peacefully at the Lunar New Year fair in Victoria Park. ?It set a very bad precedent,? he said in an interview, referring to the move to bar pro-independence parties from setting up shop at the fair, adding that he does not support independence for Hong Kong. In a first, it cited the party?s pro-independence advocacy, saying visitors might ?support or oppose the messages? of the party and thus ?endanger public order and safety.? Another pro-independence party, the Hong Kong National Party, was also barred from the fair.
