
The five leading candidates in France’s presidential race constitute the most anti-establishment group ever seen on a presidential ballot. Three come from outside the country’s traditional parties and the other two aren’t in the center of theirs.
That means their views also encompass a wide range, from writing a new constitution to taxing robots to exiting the euro. As the first round of voting approaches on April 23, voters will be focused on their policy positions.
