At least seven people are feared dead in a series of presumed terror incidents in the British capital centered on London Bridge where a white van careened into pedestrians and injured scores into early Sunday morning in the UK.
Reuters, citing the Sun newspaper, said as many as seven people were feared dead from the London Bridge attack and two alleged attackers were shot by armed police in what appeared to be a connected incident in nearby Borough Market. The newspaper said five people were in the van that drove into pedestrians, wielded knives, and then targeted people in pubs and restaurants in Borough Market.
The police have yet to confirm the number of casualties in the attack.
