Australia on Thursday reported a trade balance surplus of A$555 million annual for May, narrower than a forecast of A$1.
Exports fell 8 percent in April compared to a 2 percent gain in March with coal shipments notably down 45 percent while imports dipped 1 percent in April, down from a 5 percent increase in March.
